The Board of Directors of the Australian Data and Cyber Institute is a group of supremely qualified professionals who have oversight of the funding, strategic direction and management of the Institution in addition to ensuring that the Institution continues to meet its legal, regulatory, financial and social obligations and responsibilities

ADCI’s Academic Board operates independently from the management of ADCI, to assure the academic integrity of its courses. The Academic Board is responsible for ADCI’s academic policy making, academic administration, and for the oversight of the educational process, ensuring that the Academic Board maintains an appropriate level of control over the curriculum, ensuring ADCI’s educational objectives are achieved.
The ADCI Academic Board is comprised of academic staff from other higher education providers, tertiary education practitioners, independent members from industry and members of the Institute’s academic staff and is chaired by an independent member. A representative of the Institute’s alumni will join once ADCI has become operational.
Professor Emerita McGill is an Emerita Professor at Murdoch University and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University. She has over 3 decades of experience in information technology education and international education and has received multiple national and university teaching awards. Her roles at Murdoch included Head of Discipline, Associate Dean of Teaching and Learning, and Associate Head of School. In these roles she was responsible for the design and successful delivery of many information technology courses offered both in Australia and at overseas campuses. She represented Murdoch University in the key information technology higher education professional bodies – Australian Council of Professors and Heads of Information Systems (ACPHIS), Computing Research and Education (CORE) and Australian Council of Deans of Information Technology (ACDICT). She was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society in 2022 for her distinguished contribution to the field of ICT in Australia.
Ms Rhonda Craig is a Senior Account Manager at Microsoft Australia. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and currently a Trustee at the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA), Ms Craig has decades of experience driving strategy across digital marketing, management, sales and consulting within the IT and Telecommunications sectors.
Mr Supriya Guha is a senior leader in the domain of Data, Analytics, and AI – with over 18 years of experience across industries including Mining & Metal, Oil & Gas, Energy & Utility, Manufacturing, Hospitality, and Health and Public sectors. Mr Guha has worked globally for renowned Technology and Management Consulting firms and multi-billion-dollar business houses, helping businesses become an Insight Driven Organisations.
Dr Anna Griffin is a specialist in teaching, learning and curriculum design in higher education. She holds a PhD in Cyber Security Education, with research focused on program-level curriculum transformation and industry-aligned graduate employability. With more than two decades of experience as a teacher, school leader and academic across two Western Australian universities, she is recognised for her expertise in assessment, educational quality and evidence-informed pedagogy. Anna is committed to excellence in education and to designing innovative, rigorous learning experiences that prepare students for success in complex and rapidly evolving digital fields.

Dr Bob Cross has been recognised for his leadership, problem-solving abilities, and expertise in the information technology industry. As the 2020 INCITE Achiever of the Year, Dr Cross demonstrated his ability to achieve great results. Dr Cross has been recognised as a Fellow of the Australian Computer Society for his contribution to the IT industry and is an Honorary Life Member for his contribution to the Australian Computer Society.
Ms Elizabeth Antoine is the Regional Analytics Lead at Microsoft Asia, where she plays a crucial role in comprehending the business challenges faced by customers and translating them into technology-driven solutions. Her expertise lies in guiding organizations through significant digital disruptions, with a particular focus on emerging technologies such as Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Data mesh, and Data fabric.
Dr Peter Hannay is a renowned cyber security specialist with an exceptional track record in protecting organisations from digital threats. With a PhD in Computer Sciences, specialising in cyber security, Dr Hannay possesses an extensive knowledge of cutting-edge technologies and the ability to devise robust defence strategies.
Professor William Hutchinson is an Honorary Professor at the Security Research Institute at Edith Cowan University. He is the former the Foundation IBM Chair in Information Security, Director of Security Research Centre (SECAU), and was coordinator of the Information Operations and Security programmes at Edith Cowan University.
