Professor Emeritus Andrew Taggart was Acting Vice-Chancellor at Murdoch University (2014-2016) and Provost (2016-2018). As Vice-Chancellor he successfully led Murdoch at a time of leadership instability and financial challenge and enabled a smooth transition to a new Vice-Chancellor. As Provost he was responsible for eight academic schools and led the Directorates of Advancement, People and Culture, and Strategy, Planning and Performance.
